There appears to be a certain illogical resistance to creating an independent Office of the Inspector General by some members of the Delaware General Assembly.

A “food desert” is defined as an urban area where it is difficult to buy affordable or good-quality fresh foods. Do such places exist in Delaware? If so, where? What can be done to eliminate them? If you have trouble finding or purchasing fresh goods, how do you compensate? Is it worth a drive to a farther location or do you take what you can get nearby?

Delaware is embarking on an ambitious plan to reach net-zero emissions of carbon dioxide by 2050 and reduce emissions by half by 2030. The legislature has already begun to propose draconian measures to achieve this goal, including House Bill 99, passed in 2023, which blames carbon dioxide for potentially disastrous climate change.
