The U.S. Supreme Court’s 1954 Brown v. Topeka Board of Education decision declared that state laws establishing separate public schools for Black and White students were unconstitutional. This court decision effectively overturned the doctrine of “separate but equal.”

Remember the old Western movies in which there’s been a drought, people are starving, the cows are dying, and the crops won’t grow? The hero would come in and “seed” the clouds to make it rain. The movie may have ended well, but the reality was that those efforts were never very successful.

It is definitely beneficial to be an illegal immigrant under the Biden administration. Joe Biden is giving the store away. He allows migrants great beneficial status, instead of them becoming lawful American citizens. A real free-for-all party under Joe Biden.

I am writing in response to Jordan McClements’ recent Opinion in the Greater Dover Independent (“1.8% decrease in overdose deaths is not political victory").

Perhaps if more citizens ran for office who have leadership skills or, more importantly, if more citizens bothered to show up and vote, Dover might improve. Our last mayoral election had less than 2,000 citizens even bother to show up and actually cast a vote.
