Aspire to Succeed & Lead Conference is Friday

The 2019 Aspire to Succeed & Lead Women’s Business Conference, designed to encourage entrepreneurship and empower businesses owned by women, is set for Friday, April 26, at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.

Sponsored by the Maryland Capital Enterprises Women’s Business Center, the event, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature a keynote speaker, panel discussion, networking vision board activity and book signing.

Keynote speaker will be Veronica Correa, presenting, The Secret to a Magical Life.

Correa is a holistic health coach and owner of Personal Wellness Center in Salisbury. A licensed clinical social worker, she is also a life coach, yoga instructor and certified hypnotherapist.

Also participating will be:

  • Judy Bixler, owner and captain of the Oxford Bellevue Ferry, America’s oldest privately owned ferry, established in 1683.
  • Jeanne Mills, a registered nurse with more than 29 years of clinical experience.
  • Stefanie DeFiglia, nurse practitioner and dessert lover with a desire to make the world a healthier place.
  • Tamara Jackson, owner of T’s Divine Sweets & More and a personal chef.
  • Tyvette Brown, owner of Tyvee B Creations, handmade jewelry and other accessories.
  • Jolie McShane, who helps people and companies engage with the world using digital resources.

The cost for registration will be $75 per person.
