Police Beat: Suspect sought in Kilburnie-area store burglary

The Wicomico Bureau of Investigation is asking the public for help identifying a man who burglarized B&J Market Oct. 31.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office said the burglary occurred around 2 a.m. at the market, at 31795 Mount Hermon Road.

Responding deputies said they learned a suspect entered the business and fled before law enforcement arrived.

Sheriff’s Office releases DUI arrests log

The  Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office has released names of those charged with driving under the influence from Oct. 16 to 25. The following were charged:

Jackson Philip Ford, 23, of Potomac, Md.; Larry Thomas Handy, 57, of Salisbury; Keith Darnell Allen, 33, of Salisbury; Lauren Elizabeth Bailey, 23, of Salisbury; Teresa Deanne Scott, 47, of Salisbury; and Benjamin Henry Titus, 34, of Salisbury.

Deputies said Paul Douglas Dunford, 53, of Salisbury, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs.

During the Halloween DUI Patrol initiative on Friday, deputies arrested the following people:

Tracey Leonard Watson, 47, of Salisbury; Hailye Sierra Henderson, 20, of Fort Washington, Md., and Keith James Livingston, 18, of Arnold, Md.

Salisbury man faces assault, endangerment charges

A 50-year-old Salisbury man was in the Wicomico County Detention Center on $25,000 bail, charged with second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, according to Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

Deputies said Emerson Prattis Jr. was arrested after an assault Oct. 29 in the 1000 block of Nokomis Avenue in Salisbury.

Deputies said they arrested Prattis in connection with an assault on his girlfriend. During the investigation, a deputy said he saw signs of injury on the victim that corroborated her account.

The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment, deputies said.

Man charged with stealing computer laptop

A 25-year-old Seaford man was charged with theft of less than $1,000, according to Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

Alexander Joseph Tebo was arrested and charged Oct. 25 in the 1000 block of Beaglin Park Drive, deputies said.

They said he was arrested at 1 p.m. in connection with a reported theft of a laptop stolen from an apartment.

Tebo was released on personal recognizance, deputies said.
