Delaware State University’s Class of 2024 suited up in their caps and gowns to take to the stage May 10 for its undergraduate commencement in Dover. Though there was wind and drizzle, spirits were bright, especially when university president Dr. Tony Allen announced that this year’s class is not only the biggest in history but also holds the highest collective GPA.
I really don’t think retail is the future of downtown Dover. I think Dover needs to consider a Williamsburg, Virginia-type setting. Dover doesn’t really seem to take advantage of its history and historical buildings.
