DaVinci Award
Extra congratulations for the North Salisbury Elementary Mini Marvelous Marshmallows team, which won a special DI award, the DaVinci Award for Outstanding Creativity. The team used a unique method to depict their service learning project by unfolding a cache box in various ways to reveal the clues inside.

DI transcends race, gender, and ethnic boundaries to encourage cooperation and productive problem solving in all children. DI is not so much a program as a process.

School facilitators at participating schools work with teams and their parent team managers to teach the skills and help them learn these valuable lessons. This program is a source of pride for Wicomico County Public Schools.
