The Salisbury Jaycees 72nd annual Christmas Parade was held Sunday on East Main Street and once again drew big crowds. On Monday, the Jaycees announced the following winners in the event presented by Mountaire Farms:

  • Best High School Marching Band – Mardela Middle and High School.
  • Best Commercial Entry – B&B Music.
  • Best Non-Commercial Entry – Wicomico County Public Schools.
  • Best Youth Entry – Royal Elite Diamonds and Delmarva’s Beautiful Baby 2018 Brooklyn Madison Wegner (tie).
  • Best Scout Troop – Girl Scout Troop 181 and Brownie Troop 502 (tie).
  • Best Fire Department – Girdletree Volunteer Fire Company.
  • Best Motorized Unit – We Here Auto Club.
  • Best Animal Unit – Salisbury Kennel Club and Seaside Golden Retriever Club (tie).
  • Best Marching Unit – Wicomico High School JROTC.
  • Grand Marshal’s Award (best overall) – Wicomico Farm and Home Show and Wicomico County Fair.
