Photo Gallery: Kicks 4 Kids, held by Coastal Hospice

Kicks 4 Kids, a family event sponsored by Coastal Hospice and featuring games and foods, was a big hit at WinterPlace Park.

Activities include a watermelon-eating contest and a Smelly Sneaker Contest with celebrity judges Dr. Donna Hanlin, Pastor Martin Hutchison and Salisbury Police Officer Aaron “Bull” Hudson.

Children also participated in events including limbo, a sack race, three-legged race, egg relay, shoe distance kick, corn hole toss and football toss. Live music was provided by students of the AMP Studio in Salisbury.

Kicks 4 Kids supports Coastal Kids Supportive Care, the pediatric program of Coastal Hospice that offers specialized medical attention to children with serious illness and provides relief of discomfort, symptoms and stress. The goal of care is to improve the quality of life for both the child and the family.
