Services Friday for Bennett assistant principal

The Rev. David Allen Miles, 45, of Salisbury, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, at his home in Salisbury.

Born in Salisbury, he was a graduate of James M. Bennett High School, Bowie State University and Virginia Union University.

He was an administrator in the Wicomico County School System and was most proud of his pastoral ministry at The Saint Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church in Princess Anne.

He is survived by his parents, Kairl T. Miles and Mary Morris Miles of Salisbury. He is also survived by his sisters, Kairlyn Miles-Smith and Vashti Miles; nephew, Arthur Smith; great-niece, Alexis Smith; god-daughter, Kristen Johnson and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church, 12255 Pete’s Hill Road, Princess Anne.

A visitation will be held today, Thursday, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home and on Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Entombment will take place at Spring Hill Memory Gardens in Hebron.

Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
