Downtown Trolley service resumes for spring 2016

The city of Salisbury, Shore Transit, and Salisbury University are pleased to announce the return of the Downtown Trolley for the spring season of 2016! This service is available to Salisbury University students and community members for only $1 per boarding, and connects Salisbury University and surrounding areas with Downtown Salisbury.

After a brief hiatus for winter break, the Trolley has resumed service with a new stop. Starting its loop in front of the Perdue School of Business, the Downtown Trolley will run Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9:00 p.m. until a little after 2:00 a.m. Fare will remain $1 per boarding.  A new stop has been added on South Boulevard, between Register and Hanson streets.

The Downtown Trolley will also commence service at earlier hours each 1st Saturday and 3rd Friday! Look for service to run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. during these events, and then pick up again at 9:00 p.m. and run until 2 a.m.

This exciting project is part of the efforts to link Salisbury University students with the businesses Downtown.  Advertising opportunities are available on the Downtown Trolley via Direct Media USA.  They can be reached at 443-275-1770.
