Johnson Pond Dam lowered for inspection

As part of Salisbury Public Works’ ongoing effort to keep the public informed of improvements within the city of Salisbury, officials have announced that the water level of Johnson Pond will be affected this week

A structural engineer from George, Miles & Buhr will conduct a routine inspection of of Johnson Pond Dam.

To perform the inspection, the city will be required to slightly lower the water level.

Inspection work began this week and will take up to 10 days. Once the inspection is complete, the pond level will be brought back up to normal levels.
