Photo Gallery: Wicomico Evening High School graduates 13 students

Congratulations to the 13 graduates from last Thursday’s Evening High School Winter Commencement.

The event was attended by numerous family members, peers, teachers, and community members who supported them in reaching the goal of obtaining a Maryland high school diploma.

Earning a high school diploma is an achievement to be celebrated, but that wasn’t all the good news for this week’s graduates. Seven of the 13 graduates met with Junior Achievement and, with additional support from Evening High, Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Local Management Board, will get help with job placement and financial literacy.

Two graduates are going into the military, and two are now full-time students at Wor-Wic Community College. One student earned a $500 faculty scholarship for Wor-Wic. One received a county job offer at commencement.
