South Camden neighborhood streets undergoing repairs

As part of Salisbury Public Works’ ongoing effort to keep the public informed of improvements within the City of Salisbury, please be advised that a contractor will be affecting the flow of traffic in order to mill and pave the following streets:

Ashylon Street: North Division Street to Route 13

Kent Avenue: Jefferson Street to Pricilla Street

Middle Boulevard: Camden Avenue to Waverly Drive

Monticello Avenue: Smith Street to Hanover Street

North Boulevard: Camden Avenue to Waverly Drive

Virginia Avenue: Camden Avenue to Riverside Road

Rose Street: Lake Street to Delaware Avenue

Smith Street: Middle Boulevard to South Boulevard

South Boulevard: Camden Avenue to Waverly Drive

Vine Street: Route 13 to Eastern Shore Drive

The work will be completed by 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, barring unforeseen problems. Expect delays due to traffic pattern modifications.

“We are proud to be updating streets in our residential neighborhoods and to be making the paving investment in front of Evolution Craft Brewery,” said Mayor Jim Ireton.

“My appreciation goes out to Michael Moulds, our director of Public Works and to Jay Trott, in Public Works, for how quickly these projects are being completed,” he said. “To finish this early in the 2015 Fiscal Year is no small feat.”
