Summer Camps

At this time, we are moving forward with modified summer camps. Kids Klub Summer Escape and Pemberton Park Nature Camp are open for registration. Camp Pinehurst Special Needs Camp has been canceled and Westside Community Summer Camp is at capacity.

Kids Klub Summer Escape will be at the Wicomico Civic Center, July 6-Aug.28. The camp runs 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Registration is $135 per week and space is limited to 27 campers per week. Non-refundable deposits of $25 per week will be accepted to reserve a child’s spot in future weeks.

Pemberton Park Nature Camp will take place at Pemberton Historical Park, July 6-Aug.21. The camp runs 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Registration is $155 per week and space is limited to 27 campers per week. Non-refundable deposits of $25 per week will be accepted to reserve a child’s spot in future weeks.

Although we are optimistic about having a camp experience this summer, the situation remains fluid and we appreciate your flexibility. In the unfortunate event that summer camps must be canceled refunds will be given, including the deposits paid to reserve future weeks.

Chalk Wicomico

Looking to spread a little happiness? We’re challenging our community to see how many Wicomico County sidewalk squares and driveways we can cover in chalk. Neighbors can enjoy the art when they go out on a walk, and it’s fun to release your creative side and enjoy the fresh air. Remember to post a photo of your creations and share it with the hashtag #ChalkWicomico.

Online Resources for Parents

Having the kids home and keeping them entertained is a full-time job all on its own, so we’ve compiled a list of fun and educational resources accessible online. This list can be found on our website under the program called “Kids Korner – Online Resources.”
