Shorebirds announce fan promotions for 2016 season

The Delmarva Shorebirds, Class A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, are proud to announce that the team will once again feature daily value promotions in an effort to continue being one of the best entertainment values in the region.

In addition to special theme nights and giveaways, these recurring promotions will continue to give Shorebirds fans discounts on tickets, food and drink, plus the ability to enjoy extra events at no additional cost to a game ticket. A list of daily promotions is below with full details following:

  • 47 ABC Two Buck Monday
  • Two for Tuesday presented by McDonald’s of the Eastern Shore
  • Silver Sluggers Wednesday, presented by Coastal Home Care
  • University Village Thirsty Thursday
  • Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday
  • Q105 Fireworks Saturdays
  • Strike Out Hunger Sunday and Chili’s Kids Run the Bases

The Shorebirds will provide a great way to kick off the work week with 47 ABC Two Buck Mondays. At every Monday home game (excluding July 4), fans can receive General Admission tickets, hot dogs and 12 ounce Pepsi products for $2 each.

McDonald’s of the Eastern Shore will again be providing fans a great deal on Two for Tuesdays, where fans bringing a receipt for a McDonald’s extra value meal, happy meal or full-sized salad to the Shorebirds box office will receive a buy one, get one free offer on General Admission tickets. In addition, the Shorebirds will donate $1 to the Ronald McDonald House for every McDonald’s receipt turned in.

The popular Silver Sluggers program, presented by Coastal Home Care, returns for Wednesday games. Members of this special ticket plan for fans ages 55 and up receive tickets to every Wednesday contest, and all fans can win prizes by playing Baseball Bingo during the game. Drink specials will again be featured on Thursdays and Fridays at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. University Village Thirsty Thursdays are back, featuring 16 ounce cans of Miller Lite and Coors Light, plus 16 ounce Pepsi products, for just $2 (excluding April 28). Fridays will again be Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Fridays, where fans can enjoy 32 ounce Miller Lite and Coors Light drafts for $6 each.

Weekend home dates will also feature a number extra values for fans. After every Saturday game, the Shorebirds will have a Q105 Fireworks Show. Strike Out Hunger Sundays return, as fans can receive a ticket discount while helping local food banks. Those who bring two canned food items for donation to the box office and receive a General Admission ticket for just $3. All kids will have the opportunity to run the bases after all Sunday games thanks to Chili’s Southwest Grill and Bar.
