Shorebirds home for weekend, 9 games

The Delmarva Shorebirds are finally home again Thursday night for a nice home stand.

The team concluded the first half of the 2015 season with a 6-3 loss to the Hagerstown Suns on Sunday afternoon. Delmarva overcame an early deficit to lead 3-2, but Hagerstown scored three runs in the fifth for the decisive lead.

The team completed the first half of the 2015 seqason with a 33-35 record.

Four Shorebirds participated in this week’s South Atlantic League All-Star Game.

The Shorebirds will play five games against Hagerstown, tonight through Monday. Saturday’s game starts at 5:05 p.m., but each of the others is at 7:05.

Then Lakewood arrives for four games, Tuesday through Friday. The July 3 game is at 6:35, with the others at 7:05.
