Shorebirds unveil 2015 season promotions

The Delmarva Shorebirds will once again feature daily value promotions in an effort to continue being one of the best entertainment values in the region.

In addition to special theme nights and giveaways, these recurring promotions will continue to give Shorebirds fans discounts on tickets, food and drink, plus the ability to enjoy extra events at no additional cost to a game ticket.

•Two for Tuesday presented by McDonald’s of the Eastern Shore.

•Silver Sluggers Wednesday, presented by Coastal Home Care.

•Kiss 95.9 Thirsty Thursday, presented by University Village.

•Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday.

•Q105 Fireworks Saturdays.

•Strike Out Hunger Sunday.

The Shorebirds will again provide a great way to kick off the work week with 47 ABC Two Buck Mondays, where fans can receive General Admission tickets, Esskay hot dogs and 12 ounce Pepsi products for $2.

McDonald’s of the Eastern Shore will again be providing fans a great deal on Two for Tuesdays, where fans bringing a receipt for a McDonald’s extra value meal, happy meal or full-sized salad to the Shorebirds box office will receive a buy one, get one free offer on General Admission tickets. In addition, the Shorebirds will donate $1 to the Ronald McDonald House for every McDonald’s receipt turned in.

The popular Silver Sluggers promotion, presented by Coastal Home Care, returns for each.

The popular Silver Sluggers promotion, presented by Coastal Home Care, returns for each Wednesday game at Perdue Stadium. Members of this special program for fans ages 55 and up receive tickets to every Wednesday game, and fans can win prizes by playing Baseball Bingo at Perdue Stadium.

Drink specials will again be featured on Thursday and Friday at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. An improved Thirsty Thursday will debut in 2015, featuring larger 16 ounce cans of Miller Lite and Coors Light plus 16 ounce Pepsi products priced at just $2. Fridays will again be Big Beer Fridays, where fans can enjoy 32 ounce Miller Lite and Coors Light drafts for $6.

Weekend home dates will also feature a number extra values for fans. After every Saturday night game, the Shorebirds will have a fireworks spectacular at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. Strike Out Hunger Sunday returns as the Shorebirds partner with local food banks for a great cause. Fans can bring two canned food items to the box office and receive a General Admission ticket for just $3. Another Sunday promotion is the opportunity for Junior Shorebirds presented by McDonald’s of the Eastern Shore to run the bases after the game thanks to Chili’s Southwest Grill and Bar.

Season ticket and group outing packages are currently on sale for the 2015 season. The Shorebirds offer full season tickets, half season tickets, a 22-game plan and a 12-game plan along with a number of opportunities for groups to enjoy a night out at the ballpark.
