1st Saturday finishes season this week at Roadie Joe’s

For AMP Studios, a school of rock for teenagers previously housed in Headquarters Live, this week’s 1st Saturday will mark their first performance after the closure of Headquarters Live.

1st Saturday will finish its 2017 season line-up at a new venue, Roadie Joe’s Bar and Grill in Downtown Salisbury.  Previously held at Headquarters Live, 1st Saturday will now relocate its monthly concert series to the local restaurant to continue its tradition.

1st Saturday is held from 1 to 4 p.m., is free to attend, and is family friendly.

There are only two more 1st Saturdays this season, with AMP Studios headlining the Saturday event, followed by Red Letter Day closing out the season on Oct. 7.

“It’s a great time to come out and show your support for local music, and local musicians, especially following the loss of Headquarters Live”, said Salisbury Arts District Executive Director Jamie Heater.

Come out and show these kids your support.
