Poplar Hill Mansion, a historic house museum and Salisbury’s oldest house, will hold its second- annual award-winning festival on Saturday, centering around the early 1800s.
The Poplar Hill Mansion Festival: Celebrating Over 200 Years of History will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be a War of 1812 re-enactment with the Chesapeake Independent Blues, the local 4-H with crafts and archery demonstrations, food vendors, artisans, a “Market Square,” games, free tours of the museum with costumed interpreters, live period music and dancing, and more.
The mansion in located on Poplar Hill Avenue in Salisbury’s Newtown neighborhood.
