An information session for anyone interested in the Maryland Community College Promise Scholarship will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 6 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College.
Scholarship funds will become available for the fall 2019 term.
Eligible students include those who enroll within two years of high school graduation or completion of a GED; have a high school grade point average of at least 2.3 on a 4.0 scale; enroll full time with at least 12 credits per term in a credit certificate or associate degree program; are eligible for in-state tuition; have not earned a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree; and have an annual adjusted gross income of not more than $100,000 for those who are single or living in a single-parent household or $150,000 for those who are married or living in a two-parent household.
